A Bayfront Flip in Hampton Bays is Yours for $3.199 Million

If you’re thinking to yourself, “Self, that sure looks like a 60s ranch that has been redone,” you’re correct. (We’re not positive about the 60s part, but it’s likely.) The house last sold in October 2014 for $1.21 million. Now, instead of the decor being stuck in the 80s, the house is sleek and modern and fresh.

The footprint of the house, repped by Maria Cunneen at Compass, has remained the same: 2713 square feet with four bedrooms and three baths. But everything else has been hugely transformed: doors, windows, kitchen, bathrooms, deck. The lower level has been finished with a media room and a game room. Enormous windows make the most of the gorgeous views, and the kitchen offers the requisite white marble.

Next to the 0.85 of an acre property are 124 acres of preserve. So peace, tranquility, lovely views, a practically new house: does this all add up to $3.199 million? We tend to think no. The place is great but we’re not sure it’s $2 million greater than in October 2014. Guess we’ll see what happens.
