In June 2020, Dan’s Hamptons Media and The Independent joined together to form one company–Dan’s Independent Media. Our mission is simple: to bring you the best of everything East End.
Both The Independent and Dan’s Papers had long been organic, authentic voices of and for the Hamptons and the North Fork when Dan’s Independent Media was formed. Dan’s Taste of Summer, our series of food and wine events that began in 2011, is waiting patiently for directives on social distancing and other safety matters, but we’re already planning for smaller, but just as tasty, events. In July 2020, we launched the Hamptons Home Show on a virtual platform at HamptonsHomeShow.com, and you will also find us organizing community events–virtually and in person–highlighting policy issues with policy makers and involved citizens.
