Looking for a really beautiful, easy-to-keep-up summer or getaway home? You’re in luck, as Grey’s Anatomy actress Ellen Pompeo and music producer husband Chris Ivery have put their cozy Noyac home on the market for $3.795 million. The house, which is smallish at 2400 square feet, is painted black on the exterior (tres chic) and several interior rooms. There are four bedrooms and four baths, along with a charming country kitchen and a screened porch with a fireplace.
What’s particularly interesting about the property, repped by Jane Babcock and Mark J. Baron at Brown Harris Stevens, is the generous 8.3 acres of land, which is in the process of being subdivided, so a new owner could build a newer bigger house if they desired and keep this one for guests. Ellen explained in Architectural Digest last summer that that’s what she’d been planning to do here, but never quite got around to it. Guess that’s left to the new owners.
