Closing just before the new year, an oceanfront house in Quogue Village sold at $22.5 million, a million and a half above the asking price.
The nearly five-acre estate at 55 Coopers Neck Lane changed hands in early December after it was last listed at $39.995 million.
The house at the corner of Woods Lane and Main Street in the Village of East Hampton, perhaps the most well-known house in the village with its window boxes holding red geraniums each summer and white Christmas lights for the holidays, has been sold after nearly a year and a half on the market.
A deal for the ultramodern estate on what is known as “Billionaire’s Row” in Southampton Village closed sold last week.
