Douglas Elliman Real Estate announced some major promotions today for Todd Bourgard and Melody Newberry. Bourgard is now Regional Executive Manager of Sales and Newberry is the Regional Vice President of Marketing and Operations.

Scott Durkin, president and COO of Douglas Elliman, said in a statement, “Both Todd and Melody are proven and effective leaders whose combined talents, creativity and business acumen are an asset to our company and to the entire real estate community. I am extremely proud of the enormous success Douglas Elliman has achieved in the Hamptons and look forward to reaching new and greater heights under the leadership of Todd and Melody.”

Bourgard, a licensed real estate broker, will assume the management of Douglas Elliman Hamptons, overseeing sales strategy and agent-directed support and mentorship. He will continue to manage the day to day operations of the offices in Hampton Bays, Westhampton Beach and Quogue. He says, “I’m so glad to be part of the best real estate brokerage on the East End. And I am looking forward to helping all of our agents in the region in their professional development as real estate experts.”

Newberry’s expanded role will include her current overseeing of all East End agent and corporate marketing initiatives, plus direct administrative support for all of the region’s nine offices, community initiatives, regional events, talent recruitment and agent budgets.

“I am excited to continue to grow the Elliman brand on the South Fork as we further cement our position in the community and as a leader in Hamptons real estate,” she said.

Congratulations, Todd and Melody!
