A waterfront house in Hampton Bays sold for $3.7 million, one of the highest residential sale prices in the hamlet in recent years.

One of four lots overlooking the surfer’s haven of Ditch Plains Beach, the sale is the highest-price for a one-acre oceanfront lot ever sold in Montauk. 

A $56 million transaction was finalized this week for the Town of East Hampton’s purchase of 30 acres along Wainscott Pond.
