The Montauk Yacht Club will debut a multi-million dollar enhancement of the historic property, according to Proper Hospitality, which has taken over the management.

The long driveway at 283 Old Montauk Highway lead past the putting green and ample lawn space to the 8,200-square-foot residence.

The Surfside Inn, a Montauk mainstay with its restaurant and Atlantic Ocean views, has hit the commercial real estate market for $7.25 million.

A prominent hospitality group bought the Sands Motel, says Hal Zwick and Jeff Sztorc at Compass Commercial, who had the exclusive listing.

A 3,200-square-foot traditional-style house, it boasts light-filled interior spaces thanks which take full advantage of the waterfront locale. 

A custom-built estate in Montauk, which just came on the market, pays homage to part of what has made Montauk famous — fishing, of course.

In the Hamptons, houses under $1 million are few and far between. In Montauk, opportunity awaits — for $840,000.
