Among the Hamptons open houses set for this weekend is a waterfront Quogue property on Dune Road listed for $15.5 million.

Despite the Hamptons real estate market having a banner year with soaring home prices, Sagaponack dipped this year on the annual list of the most expensive zip codes in the country.

A massive oceanfront estate on Dune Road in Quogue sold for $18.5 million, making it this year’s top sale in the hamlet to date during what appears to be a surge in demand for properties west of the Shinnecock Canal.

“In my opinion, this modernist work of art is Norman Jaffe’s most crowning achievement on the East End, and it’s without a doubt one of the most major houses west of the canal,” says Douglas Elliman Real Estate’s Enzo Morabito, who holds the listing for 2 and 4 Seascape Lane in Quogue.

Oceanfront houses are not usually where one might think of finding a farm-to-table garden, but that’s what this Quogue home delivers. 

A Westhampton Beach estate located on a creek just off Moriches Bay, listed for $9.149 million, is among the Hamptons properties to recently find buyers.

Closing just before the new year, an oceanfront house in Quogue Village sold at $22.5 million, a million and a half above the asking price.

This two-acre estate in the Village of Quogue was made for entertaining, outdoors as much as indoors. The 8,800-square-foot home, just up the block from Shinnecock Bay is listed for $5.749 million

The 12,500-square-foot traditional house, known as “King of the Hill,” offers eight bedrooms, 10 full baths and three half baths.
